Plot[]

Not too long ago, Toby the Tram Engine discovered a secluded mine. Inside that mine was Bertram, the 'Old Warrior', the nickname coming from his renowned bravery. Toby asked to leave the Branch Line to see how he was getting along. Toby runs in to Percy at the station, who is very tired. Percy says it is because Bertram parades around the yard in an obnoxious manner. Toby decides to see for himself. When Toby arrived engines were bustling to and fro. Toby realizes that Bertram "is rambunctious, at the least". After Toby leaves, Duke tells the story of Smudger, an engine was careless. This got the better of him, when he derailed and knocked over a building. Bertram then rolls up, and states how he hear the whole story. Bertram rambles on, using his wide vocabulary, before Duke interrupts him. Molly decides to leave before the situation gets out of hand. Donald, finally getting the courage to speak up, does so, in which he comments that Bertram has lost his mind. Toby leaves, and starts to mumble about how really useful Bertram is. Donald is shunting trucks near High Tower, a landmark near the mine. It causes the tower to shake violently above Toby, whose crew went for coffee, meaning that he is stranded. Bertram arrives just in time to tow Toby out of the way. The Old Warrior had certainly lived up to his name.
