Plot

Greg and Lars are two loud soft-sided lorries who live in an old shed next to the Skarloey Railway. Greg considered himself to be visually impaired, and Lars was very clever but prefered to sleep than work. One morning, their drives woke them up to take a goods load to the quarry. Lars complained that Greg's blindness because of the dark glasses. Greg disagreed. Immediately after he left the shed, Greg broke down, so Lars had to go to the quarry. The Sarloey Railway engines, especially Sir Handel, had developed a grudge towards the two lorries. Rheneas joked about Sir Handel still not being over his incident with George the Steamroller. Freddie said the mean well. Just then, Lars crashed into the water tower. Sir Handel flashed a stern look at Freddie, but he kept his opinion on the lorries. Lars headed back to check on his brother. Paul the Mechanic was having little success with Greg. Paul told Greg's driver to reverse, which he did, albeit to quickly. The foreman informed the engines that Rheneas would not have enough water to make it home, so Sir Handel and Frddie would have to split the load. Sir Handel shunted Rheneas into the shed, and departed with his train. Paul got Greg's driver to reverse, but he did so too far, crashing into a railway bridge support with no way of warning the approaching Sir Handel. Lars though the rails could be supported by Greg's tall load. It held the line up for Sir Handel. Greg pulled forward, as the track crashed to the ground. Unfortunately, Freddie raced by and crashed of the bridge because Greg was not there to spport the rails. Greg and Lars happily fell asleep.
